100 x 100: A century of reading

One of my longer-term reading goals is to read a book published in each year of the 20th century, in chronological order. I'm calling this '100 x 100'. I would like to have 100 unique authors, and no books that I have previously read. I am having trouble finding in more recent decades books that I have not yet read, so suggestions are welcome (see my alphabetical list to see whether I've already read what you're about to suggest; please note - no offense - I'm generally not interested in genre fiction). Below is my draft list, begun on 2005-10-10. I am indebted to the contributors to the "years in literature" entries in the Wikipedia.
